As with all jewellery, general wear and tear will occur over time depending on how the piece is worn and stored.
Try to store your jewellery comfortably, avoiding the humidity and preventing them from colliding with other rigid objects.
Take care to protect your jewellery from impacts, scratching and contact with chemicals.
It is totally inadvisable to wear them on the beach, in the pool and in the bath.
The daily exposure to creams, oils for the skin, hair sprays, household chemicals and other substances can cause some oxidation on the material and cause the loss of the natural glow of the metal and finish.
A safe way to clean your jewellery is with a soft brush, warm water and toothpast.
When you use a jewellery cleaning product, always read the label to see if it is appropriate for plated or filled metals. These are prone to damage and cause a loss of their natural glow.
Plated items are created by applying a top surface layer which will inevitably fade over time.
If you would like to have your jewellery re-plated, re-filled or refinish, contact us (firstname.lastname@example.org) and we will be happy to arrange this for you for a small fee.
